The 2 Bears – Work

One of the big projects I’m currently working on is The 2 Bears‘ debut album ‘Be Strong‘. I’m pretty lucky in that we have quite a strict A&R’ing process at Your Army and only work on projects we really believe in, even then though working on this album has been a real treat, I’ve been a massive fan of the bears since their first 12″ appeared a couple of years ago now, so working on this album and seeing it do so well is a particularly great feeling.

Anyway as I’m sat here on the sofa collating coverage (oh the glamourous life of a PR…), I thought I’d share the video to the current single ‘Work’. It was filmed in Brixton Market back in November and was a fairly bizarre experience, firstly  watching Joe & Raf get de-furred and then being chased out of the market by a security guard who apparently wasn’t such a big fan of quality house music.

DFA, who are releasing the record in the States, have also just made the radio edit of the single available as a free download on their Soundcloud page, so check it out, ‘Be Strong’ is releases on the 30th January and is already a strong contender for album of the year in my book.
